er yir macaroon
Outstanding so far in the Champions League qualifier. Composure, aggression, skill. If he's back to his best then he should remain in our starting 11 and good news for us.
Paulo2576
Have been thinking the same. Great seeing him like this.
Radian
If he is back to his best and no longer playing injured I'd have him in
Robroysboy
Watching him in the first half again the Israeli team, Scott looked like he was back to his best. Hoping celtic can get their act together and qualify for the CL. The Celtic players would join up for the malta trip on a high. As opposed to tiblisi when they turned up with their tails between their legs.

ErsatzThistle
In the past twelve months I've been a big critic of Brown but if he is starting to find his old form once again then great ! A rejuvenated Scott Brown would be handy for the England games.
vanderark14
It's one game after two average seasons and it wasn't against top quality opposition. Everyone would love to see him back to top form but let's not get carried away.
Guest allyc
He is better than all our other options.
wanderer
Hopefully that is him back to fitness now, as I felt our slump in the 2nd half of of the last campaign also coincided with him putting off with a knee operation that he needed at the time. He clearly hasn't been for at least 2 seasons.

liviloyal
Shame to see this, but he just wasn't the same the last campaign. Wonder who the next captain will be!
Dandydon
Probably the correct decision for his club career. Not exactly an outstanding candidate to replace him unfortunately!

Fairbairn
That takes a decision Strachan probably wasn't going to make out of his hands. Brown done well for Scotland in the past but I think his time as a starter and captain was up.
runningtings
Been a great servant etc Time to give McGinn a chance in my opinion, be more positive in midfield. Would think that's a good decision for Brown's club career though.
ProudScot
Hmmm feel a bit annoyed at him making this decision to be honest. Fletcher could have done this before now but he still has the passion and wants to represent Scotland.

giblet
Christ, feel old when Scott Brown retires from international football. Was good for Scotland, probably never great.

wanderer
Shame so soon to the qualifiers (though I am sure him and Strachan have been discussing this over the summer). Think Jame McArthur is probably the most likely candidate as a replacement (and really should have been getting his chance for a while now).
