Between this and when the Rangers fans visited Israel (amazed no one has posted it) the Israelis must be thinking WTF. Cheers old firm.

And we should give a feck about what a nation who have carried out the systematic ethnic cleansing of a people thinks, why?

Nah, not at all. Hamas wasn't formed until the '80s and didn't become aggressive towards Israel until well after that. They have repeatedly stated that they are prepared to have a ceasefire if Israel returns to it's legal borders and stops ethnically cleansing the people of Palestine.

You can try and conflate the issue of ethnic cleansing if you wish though.

Cutting analysis. Judging by your posts on this thread, I'm pretty certain i'm far more educated on the situation in Palestine than you. I can lend you quite a bit of literature on it if you'd like? Would make a change from your normal youtube videos.

Well i can agree on the last paragraph 100%. Being socialised in the footballing world here on the continent in the 90s, me and my pals still dont like this ultra thing here. Colorwise it is nice but the constant singing, political and selfrightous statemens, the cringe "diffidati con noi" even being displayed in italian here in Germany and the occupation and self governance mentality of these 18 yrs old ####ers are extremely annoying. No respect for nothing.

Saying so, if there was an ultra group early/mid 90s for my club , i would have joined. Its an age thing ;-)

To say that they don't care about Celtic is just utter drivel. They certainly care about the 11 players on the park and support them from the first until the 90th. They certainly don't care for Lawell and his cronies who are more interested in expanding the brand, diluting the support and fleecing us as much as they can.

As for the attention seeking comment, ultras groups by their very nature are attention seeking which is why they have tifos, Co ordinated chants etc.

The Green Brigade do more good than bad and have done more than anyone else in Britain in improving the atmosphere and the experience for ordinary fans who had been indoctrinated into thinking  that you turn up for 90 minutes, sit on yer arse and then go home.

wow, just wow. The GB are a bunch of numpties who think that supporting terrorists makes them some sort of working class heroes when all they are are, as I say, numpties. As others said, just attention-seeking idiots. PS not meaning Palestinians in regards to terrorists

  What a rocket .......

Thanks but glibly using the argument that Hamas has only been around since 1987 wouldnt suggest to me that you are the Einstein of the subject you claim to be.

I would think with the birth of IS, hanging on the words of other Sunni Islamic extremists wont do much for your profile either.

You're the one who brought Hamas in to this, not me. I merely referenced that Israel have been ethnically cleansing Palestine long before Hamas were on the scene.

I'm not hanging on the words of anyone either, merely referencing a stance by Hamas (who you brought in to the debate) that has been stated for decades.

I don't claim to be "the Einstein of the subject", i merely claim to be more educated on it than you. Which, given your comments on this thread, i'd suggest the majority of people are.

All you've done is go "Hamas are bad" and then bring Daesh up in an attempt to link them to Hamas.

I'll make it simple for you

The awkwardness of Hamas comment was in relation to you putting yourself and the Celtic supporters on the moral high ground because of Israel's ethnic cleansing (which nobody is trying to defend btw)

It was merely to reflect that the situation in the middle east is not as open and shut as that and hasnt been for the last 70 years

Apart from the ripping up the seats at fir park, I don't have an issue with any of the other banners. Football and politics shouldn't be mutually exclusive.

As for the uefa banner, I'd say most, including yourself, believe that uefa are a repugnant and corrupt organisation and just because Celtic fans have highlighted it, you take Umbridge with it despite the fact you believe it. Odd to say the least.

If the club incur fines so be it, but if you are happy to be dictated to and sensored by an organisation like Uefa, the your complicit, all be it on a minor scale , to their actions.

Have you actually been to that area ? - or are you just quoting from books and the television media, I can assure you that what you see on the likes of the  BBC & CNN is far from the reality as to what happens at street level.

I'm not defending Hamas or their actions here. So I'm pretty happy occupying the moral high-ground with my condemnation of Israel and support of Palestine.

I also never said the conflict was simple.

You've just assigned false positions to me and made smart arsed comments in relation to those positions.

Oh, the moral crusaders that they are, bless.

I'm pretty sure UEFA will take note of what 10 spotty kids from Castlemilk think of them. If you really want to make a point, do it at their headquarters, at their annual meetings etc, not at games where the only losers are the club you support.

There are plenty of ways of highlighting injustice and supporting your political beliefs without doing it full in the knowledge that by doing so all you are doing is causing your club grief.

Batter in though, as i've said, rightly or wrongly all that will result of it will be sanctions against the club you "love".

As for being complicit, i dare say you attend more UEFA games than me on a yearly basis, so look closer to home. If you feel that strongly about their policy, don't give them full stadiums.

I am acutely aware of the control that Israel has on Palestine and how that pans out for the people living there yes.

Only an Israeli can justify the actions their country takes

There is the thorny issue of a good number of Arabs in the whole region who want to see Israel wiped off the face of the earth - a point that many who take the moral high ground seem to forget.
