A shit season for us, terrible football for the majority of it, probably all agree on that. 9 points difference between a shit season for us and a superb season for you. Perspective. We can only get better, you are at your peak. The Famous. Don't be too hard on yourself. It was always going to be a tough ask for your first season in the top league. St Johnstone are right behind you (9pts) btw.......

At least DD's post has some semblance of reality to it given they have been plundering our best players ever since Fergie and St. Mirren won the league, several cups and the European cup winners cup for them all those years ago. I agree Peter Weir Frank McDougall Although you guys got Ian Scanlon we shoudl have had Ian Fergusion & Tony Fitzpatrick as well - think we were close to getting Fitzpatrick although you could have kept Ricky Gilllies

There is never any discussion about improving coaching methods or giving youth a chance, the solution always seem to be to throw money at the problem. Money is an issue if you are comparing most teams to the likes of Celtic, that much is obvious. Same argument can be used for Aberdeen against some of the lower funded and lesser supported sides but not hearts. They've managed what money they have by appointing a puppet for levein.
