I will confess to almost doing this ( well at lest 3 times) in my defence it was in America and a hire car. Which should stop folk from doing this! My friend called me last Saturday. She was out shopping with her sister and her sisters car had broken down. My husband is an auto electrician so he went out to help. Yup, they had run out of petrol. Worse still, a few years ago this same friend rode off in her car which had a wheel missing.
