ParisInAKilt
Anyone recommend a good pub to watch the scores that also does "craft" beer?
Barney Rubble
Depends what you mean by 'craft' beer. Tennents in Byres Road is the business. If you want to try beer that you have never heard of and still see the sport, then Munro on Great Western Road which is 50m fron St George's Cross Underground is your shout. Just my opinion. Guest flumax
http://www.thetennentsbarglasgow.co.uk without a doubt. In CAMRA good beer guide always with a great variety and well kept ale. Has sports to.
ParisInAKilt
Cheers guys I'll pass them onto mates NZ has ruined me in terms of beers, the thought of having nothing decent to drink isn't appealing

Should've mentioned it's really easy to book a table on their website. Best place in Glasgow if there's a group of you
Alan
Tell them to go to a game instead of checking their accumulators on English premiership. Thistle v Motherwell on today. Then nip down to Munros (walk) or "Crafty Pig" (walk) or quick taxi to "The State", "Tennents", "Shilling Brewing Co" or "

Would rather head down to a juniors game for 1400 ko, go on to their club at ft to watch the scores come in .
Fairbairn
The Raven is a good shout. I've always found The Drop to be a bit of a shithole. If you're heading out to the West End the new Bag O'Nails (old Patrick Tavern) is quite good as is Dram over on Woodlands Road.

wanderer
Another shout out for the Raven (meets all the requirements in your original post). Hootenanny near St Enochs also, and maybe Stereo (but do not think it has screens in its bar area)
ParisInAKilt
Ended up in the Admiral on Waterloo Street. Was pretty good, had several of the Fallen brewery beers and good few screens.

Ridiculously good is an understatement. We had, between us, the venison, mince and tatties, bolognese and duckfast. Seriously good pies if a little pricey at £7.50 for a pie and a pint.
