Already one fan been hooked out the ground for getting onto the pitch to have a go at him.

Jackie McNamara says he is "humbled" by the loyalty shown to him by the York City chairman, who has resisted calls to sack the former Dundee United boss as the team have lost their last three games and sit just above the relegation zone of the Vanarama National League. (Daily Mail)

Is the Vanarama National League one below the conference or is that the new name for the conference?? Was he still managing in the SPFL this time last year???

National League bottom club Guiseley came from behind - and overcame a floodlight failure - to thrash Yorkshire neighbours York City at Nethermoor.

York, relegated from League Two last season, drop to 20th after a fourth straight defeat.

Fans called for boss Jackie McNamara to leave the club and a supporter was kicked out of the ground after marching on to the pitch to confront him.

I've harped on about his record since United beat Aberdeen in the League Cup semi at Hampden a couple of years back so done a spot of research. I've generously awarded him a win for a match where we drew in 90 minutes against Dunfemline but won in extra time.

So, since 1st Feb 2015 his personal record reads -

Played 75

Won 14

Drew 15

Lost 46

Astonishing he's still in a job (not for much longer you'd think!)- can't see him getting another!

Apparently that was Guiseley's first victory in 6 months  ^?^

He hasn't really endeared himself to the fans either.

Apparently he missed training the Monday before last, as he was taking delivery of his new Audi A7 in Edinburgh - I wonder where he got the cash for that?

"Managerial situation update

FOLLOWING a meeting with the Chairman this morning, and in light of the disappointing performance and result last night, York City manager Jackie McNamara has considered his position going forward.

It has been decided that, if the team fails to gain a positive result at Braintree Town on Saturday, the York City manager will tender his resignation.

The manager will be looking for a passionate and committed reaction from the players after the capitulation at Nethermoor Park on Tuesday evening".

14 wins in 75 games really doesnt augur well

Jackie Guardiola must be ruing the day it was made public he profited on player sales in the wake of allowing Armstrong and MacKay-Steven to go to their League Cup Final opponents.
