No, no and no again!!!

First of all, he is linked with Shrewsbury and secondly, apart from 1 season at ICTFC, he has failed.

I am an ICT fan and was GLAD to get rid of him at end of last season.

He would be miles WORSE than Levein/Burley combined.

Why did you want rid of him? What were the reasons?

Think that boat has long gone..... he took the Iceland job on as a long term project, and at 68 I really doubt he would be up for another one involving us.

Local rag in Aberdeen reporting that McInnes is bookies favourite

I really hope not. Otherwise i'll be forced to watch Kenny McLean be a waste of a jersey for Scotland too.

I don't think John Hughes has the appeal of enough people to be given the nod and I wouldn't pick him.

However, his record is actually very good and he gets his teams to play good football.  There's few managers i've seen that have such an obvious style that his teams are made to play.  Find it bizarre folk think he's a poor manager.

What's McIness actually done?  Got his team to second where they should be anyway?  They choke every time there's a big game.

As soon as we drew England in the qualifiers I posted on here that Strachan would stay for that game and he did stay....

Sadly its been proven right he just staying for that game now...

For his own ego we have given up another campaign.

Not saying he has done us badly but after last campaign he should he walked we all knew it but loyalty for him kept him.

I would for another ego man shit or bust..

If Strachan goes, would like Paul Lambert get the job, the way he spoke on Scotland's game made me think he be great international manager.  Joe Jordan as his number 2 to gee the players up be good too.
