I wonder how so many celtic employees found out about the scheme?  It could be that they found out about it at meeting, say maybe contract talks.

Possibly, but it wasn't the vehicle Celtic used to pay their salary.

I understand the desperation from Rangers fans to equate this to their EBTs, but it's clearly not the same (from a club (or company) point of view).

Worst case Celtic did suggest it as a way of boosting your take home pay, but they weren't stupid or arrogant enough to get their hands dirty.

When you consider how many people associated with Celtic are tax experts, it really isn't a surprise...... :)

Indeed.

Anyone know if any of the tax advisers were porn stars?

Is this story not years old?

Anyway... Interesting to start on Inside Track 3 officers https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/OC305070/officers and work through Ingenious Film Partners 2 https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/OC314069/officers and keep on following the links.  From Lawell to Milne to dear old Joey Barton.  Seems that they were all at it.  I am sure someone with much more free time could come up with a definitive list of who was all involved over all the companies.

Could just be the HMRC are starting to demand the cash now. The ruling in favor in HMRC was back in August.
