Which probably means there will be about 2 scenes the same. Nonetheless it looks pretty good.
Squirrelhumper
Looking forward to it. Welsh absolutely hammers Rangers in Porno does he not? Been years since i read it.
irish
Disappointed it's not a direct adaptation of Porno as the chapters told through Begbie's perspective are comedy gold. Don't remember many references to Rangers in Porno but there's in one of the chapters from Spuds perspective there's a Hearts fan who's Spud's cousin and he gets ripped off by Spud and Sick Boy who steal his bank card. Pool Q
I've a strong suspicion it will be honking, at least in comparison with the original. I'll go and see it though, and hopefully be proved wrong. Edited November 4, 2016 by Pool Q

Surely with a character such as Begbie and his psychotic menace it would be hard not to make it alright
dan cake
hopefully Ewan Mcgregors best film since trainspotting 1 they filmed bits and pieces of it where i grew up because it still looks like the 80/90s!
Brummie Hibs
I'm a bit worried after seeing that trailer. It seems to be a lot of the same situations and venues, except everybody is a bit older and...most likely...it's sh!t! Rolling out what we loved before and yearn for now - jmember berries. It's a bit like watching The Rolling Stones these days.

Pool Q
The film of Trainspotting was fantastic, but for me the book was far greater. It is difficult to exaggerate the impact the book had when it came out. I'd never read anything like it - and it was set in the city I lived in. My worry (and again, I really do hope I'm wrong) is the comparison that many have made before of the first great album of a band with the flabby effort by the same band 10-15 years later. Looking forward to seeing it though.
