Alan
Away fans do sing more but the Scotland support is flat lining and needs some freshness. There have been no new songs in ages. The "hardcore" are more interested in getting blootered and annoying people with their pheasant feathers and the usual get up. Look at all the threads on here about pre and post match parties. They outrank other threads about the game and team. It's all getting very samey.
North East Loon
I got arrested outside campus for trying to drag my mate away from loyalist scum shouting no surrender. My mate was in their said loads of English casuals in, and polis lifting people outside in early hours, saying that he ended up drinking with some guys Fae Sheffield afterwards, some decent lads amongst them
Doric
Where you!? Was absolutely brutal last night from their first goal onwards until our goal. Even Loch Lomond at half time was half arsed with most sitting down. Friday was brilliant, once we scored - until then it was a very nervy affair. Aye whats happened to Loch Lomond these days ? Used to be brilliant. Seems to have died a death
Padre Andrew
Re singing generally: at Hampden you know where the singing usually starts, and folk join in. We’ve all been displaced in these other grounds, so you don’t get the same groundswell from the North Stand. Not an excuse, just one possible reason. mentalist
Was handbags at McDonald's at Trongate end of Argyle Street after game. I was in there waiting ages for some scran, when a TA member approached the counter and said to the staff "there's a riot going outside". So I was a little perturbed when the doors flew open and a few neds burst in dressed in the casual manner. One of them proceeded to start chucking chairs, trays, booting doors and shouting abuse concerning our southern neighbours. It was then that the same guy who had warned of the riot noticed this clown was only a young (word that rhymes with stunt) and told him to behave in no uncertain terms. Around this point the manageress, who seemed unphased by this turn of events, also went towards the muppet and things quietened down. Shortly after that the Polis arrived on the scene, whether the perpetrators were lifted or legged it I'm not sure. I heard someone else in the queue saying that the neds had launched an unprovoked attack on some English guys, I don't know if this was inside or out. Finally got some food, whilst eating saw one of the other staff mopping the floor, it may have been blood or perhaps it was coke, again I can't confirm which. On reflection wished I'd stopped at a chip van.

Jordanovic
Aye whats happened to Loch Lomond these days ? Used to be brilliant. Seems to have died a death That was my thoughts Doric! Used to be bouncing, especially at the 'ho me leannan' part! It may have something to do with the bulk of TA not being together like we are in the north stand at hampden, but was still sad to see - always a highlight of home games for me. 500 Miles was phenomenal. Just wish we could have kept it going through the whole game

We’ve all been displaced in these other grounds, so you don’t get the same groundswell from the North Stand. Not an excuse, just one possible reason. I would definitely agree with that. At Hampden the 'singers' tend to be grouped behind each goal so the singing is more co-ordinated and the llouder it is encourages even reluctant singers to join in. However, at Ibrox and Celtic Park the singing supporters are sporadically placed around the ground and I feel that has prevented supporters singing in harmony. Grantyboy1983
Agree with the singing, not enough people were joining in on Tuesday to make it a hair-on-neck rendition of said song, most people who were singing (myself included) then realised this then and promptly stopped as they knew it was not getting round the stadium and sounded a bit s*it!! To be fair, England didn't give us much to sing about!! It was a bit better on Friday but you could feel the tension in the air till wee Maloney scored, after that the singing was magic and the rendition of Flower of Scotland late in the game was brilliant as some others have already mentioned. Won't be much singing against Gibraltar unless the school weans learn a few songs!!
hannibal smith
Won't be much singing against Gibraltar unless the school weans learn a few songs!! If the SFA give out 10,000 of those mini trumpets that always do my head in at under 21 games you wont be able to hear the singing anyway

glasgow jock
Anyone know why the bloke got lifted & chucked out the Jock Stein Lower (behind the goals halfway up), don't know if he was Scottish or English, caused a bit of shouting etc ?? thewelk
In Hampden it's the north and west that start up the singing. The east is full of families and the south is full of people that tut or make snide comments when you arrive 5 mins late. Those people also want to sit quietly and examine the football. I guess singing might be a bit cringy. That's fair enough but it doesn't help the team. At parkhead I really felt like I was surrounded by people that would normally have been in the south stand. Hence it was a bit frustrating. I've got another mate that said the atmosphere against ireland was brilliant so he must jave been surrounded by north standers. He usually sits in the south...now he knows what he's been missing!
giblet
Wasn't a fan of that Des character or Vigo thieves playing, bit of an odd atmosphere. Place didn't seem fully up for it (myself included) Friday was really good I thought, I said a while back I'd settle for defeat against the English for a win over the Irish. Euros are priority not money making schemes from SFA. Des whathisname was terrible. As for parkhead, would take Hampden any day before it. Horrible manky place/area. The atmosphere was superb at Fulham with a couple of songs added in. What a difference. Totally agree with that, the atmosphere at Fulham was really pretty impressive for a friendly. The "Gordon Strachans tartan army" chant was as loud as any i can remember. As other have said, Fridays game where i was in the North upper was a bit nervewracking to get a real prolonged atmosphere going. Tuesdays game was just awful in so many ways. There was zero buzz from the start and got progressively worse as the game went on. For me it just seems to confirm that the "Auld enemy" fixture (in that context) is as good as dead. If we get them in a qualifier then that is a different matter all together!
