Most of the buses are going from Albufeira. I think there is one from Faro, but it sold out. Getting transport to the game while there won't be a problem. jailender Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 I would imagine that the taxi drivers in Faro will see a big opportunity to do good business before and after the match ferrying Scots fans to/from the stadium, so can't see it being a problem. It appears I paid Scanner for 4 seats back in February, forgot all about that, just found my Paypal receipt! It was only when I went on to my profile to message Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum I saw the message from Paul Was so long ago I had forgotten all about it!!! Would prefer to get something sorted kind of soon rather tha hope that taxis will be available. The stadium really is in the middle of nowhere! Party of two here also with the same problem.Not arriving to faro until four off the dublin flight and expect to either check in and head near ground, or town centre then ground. You / we could book a taxi to you / us back to Faro after the match, but you can't help but feel that the taxi would get flagged by someone else and be gone! No problem filling it but I think our flight arrives too late for it to be possible for us to organise something. Would need to be done by someone else. Looking into alternatives atm.
