BremnerLorimerGray
Heard that these 2 have been physically assaulted in Edinburgh and were whisked away by bus to Glasgow. Source is a Brit Nat tadger so I'm very dubious.

Source is a Brit Nat tadger so I'm very dubious. You've every right to be as I've never known anyone to be whisked away by a feckin bus before? Auld_Reekie
Hmmm. I doubt it's true. There are stories about them having to cancel an event as Yes campaigners turned up. Not sure if this is crossed wires between the Ed Miliband farce where it got a bit rowdy.
1ANDYP
I hate that wee witch curran , the sight of her makes my blood boil. She done sweet f all for the east end of Glasgow. actually seen her in the doctors a couple of weeks ago and had to bite my tongue. a nasty little cow
Auld_Reekie
Sounds like it's getting a bit tasty out on the streets at the moment. Important Yesser's show some restraint. Couple of stories of pushing and shoving, and I've seen a couple of instances where people are letting their emotions get better of them. It does Yes campaign no favours at all if a few start behaving like dicks.

Toepoke
Not a fan of either but physical abuse of a campaigning opponent is out of order (IF it happened)...

We need to make sure we're beyond reproach, as any little incident will be disproportionately used against us.

Maq
Really hope this isn't true! The slightest thing and it'll be blown out of proportion. Folk really need to keep the heid Idiots on both sides, but the media are only gonna go for highlighting it from 1 side

Auld_Reekie
I dont think it's true - theres nothing on social media about it and something as major would have been like wildfire. There does seem to have been a bit pushing going on at Ed Miliband's presser and some Yesser's have been vocal that other Yes supporters were not helping the cause. This needs to be cut out. Tension is rising and it is disastrous if one or two lose the rag and do something they'll regret.
giblet
they might have been involved in the Milliband crush at the shopping centre. He arrived an hour late, huge group of photographers with no and yes supporters, walkabout got cancelled pretty quickly. Westminster media already doing the line " Milliband called traitor" etc.
thplinth
Can we have some evidence before all the lamentation.
exile
Any intimidation on the street by anyone is unacceptable The papers are already referring to Yes supporters as thuggish and intimidating The Daily Mail also implying they are sinister extremists - the PAcific HQ potest being spun as a mob, intimidating journalists who are only holding bullying politicians (= salmond) to account
Khana Lagur
If Curran and Lamont had been assaulted, how could anyone tell?

UPROAR
a friend of mine out canvassing today saw them. There were half a dozen of them leafletting, no press and the public generally ignoring them....
scotlad
I can't see anything Twitter about this. However, I have seen that a Yes SSP meeting in Drumchapel has apparently been cancelled at the last minute because unionists 'intimidated the venue'. Jonny
This sort of thing? http://www.craigmurray.org.uk/ Ignore it. Yes is under complete scrutiny right now for any possible misdemeanour. Keep calm, keep the heid, keep talking, be respectful, vote Yes and all stress will be relieved early Friday morning.

antidote
Can we have some evidence before all the lamentation. Do they need evidence? In all honestly it looked more like the press were surrounding Millipede with the no campaigners around them. It has been reported that someone had to protect Curran and Lamont. I was thinking they protected them from going into beauty saloon and wasting their money. This is from the daily mail. No mention of assault though. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2758514/The-Seriously-Nasty-Party-With-one-day-damning-evidence-bullying-intimidation-voters-Scots-nationalists-just-ask-Miliband.html
Toepoke
Front page of the Daily Mail "Seriously Nasty Party" (oddly enough the report omits reports of intimidation from the No side) Fortunately I don't think it has many undecideds among its readership
