Is that so you can "exclusively reveal" ?

Haha, "my source" is a massive celtic fan, dont know who he knows but he told me last season that Craig Gordon signed with Celtic when they had no manager. A deal done by board members.

If Wilson is paraded at Celtic only then will I exclusively reveal!

Celtic have signed Danny Wilson on a pe contract

Well that has been 2 days since you made this statement. There is no way this wouldn't have gotten out in the press if he had actually put pen to paper.

I'm still hopeful this will go ahead, though. Our CB options are very limited so We need all our best centre backs playing at a decent team.

Would be a great move. He would get European football and would have to raise his game. He made a potentially incorrect move to a big team early in his career but he's earned his stripes now and is ready for a step up. At 23 it's great to hopefully have another option now - although I don't see why he wouldn't be an option at Hearts also

Playing in the championship, i can see why not, but if they do well in the SPFL next year then i don't see any reason why not, either.

However, Wilson has already said he's leaving and Celtic might have to replace their 2 main CBs next year, so there couldn't be a better time to sign.

Yeah it's a good move and time for him to finally realise all that potential.

Could see Gordon, Wilson, Mulgrew, Brown, Armstrong, Mackay-Steven & Griffiths in the same starting team next season. Oh and Forrest... 8 scots possibly if Forrest doesn't end up punted to Yeovil on loan...

That would be great, it's never a bad thing having international teammates playing in the same team. When McManus and Caldwell played together at Celtic, it was arguably our strongest central defence in the last 10 years. Brown and Mulgrew have looked great together in the odd game they've played in center mid as well.

I'm certainly not implying that the Scotland team should be filled with pretty much only Celtic players, but it is about time that Scotland's strongest team are filled with the elite Scotland has to offer.

Griffiths

Forrest Armstrong GMS

Mulgrew Brown

.... Wilson ..... .....

Gordon

Unlikely lineup, but it would be great for Scotland if those players were in the Celtic starting 11 every week.

It's refreshing to see a foreign manager come in and want to sign and play scots.

The next step will be seeing if he can blood through the talent Celtic have coming through at the moment - he's buying the finished article which is great - now can he develop his own too

I'm guessing it's because the foreign manager hadn't been infected with this odd stigma we have in Scotland that 'foreign is better'.

There are 4 or 5 highly regarded teenagers at Celtic right now. I'd be surprised if he didn't promote a couple of them to the senior squad in the next year or so. E.g Tierney, Thomson, Miller, McMullan
