Lamia
I have come to the conclusion that I actually hate the Lib Dems the most out of all the Westminster parties and the more MP's they get the more I will worry. They have no principles whatsoever and all the want are positions in a cabinet. They will sell out on any issue to get it. How anyone can vote for them is beyond me as all their policies are disposable. The last thing I want is for them to have enough MP's to make a coalition with anyone and if they make one with Labour that will be the worst option of all because any time the SNP MP's vote against anything at the same time as the Tories all we will hear is "the SNP backed the Tories" forever and a day. It won't matter if they voted against something for entirely different reasons. The Lib Dems tell us that they have helped to moderate the Tories well I for one would love to see what they actually got their way on because I do not believe for one minute they made any discernible difference. They are simply chameleons!

Hertsscot
LibDems could have formed a coalition with Labour last time round instead they decided to get in to bed with the Tories. Lie with dogs and you get fleas. Under Clegg's watch: bedroom tax, austerity, cuts to the most vulnerable in society, exponential growth in food banks, zero hour contracts, rich get ricehr and poor get poorer. Wow - they must be really proud of their record in Govt. Have voted Lib Dem in the past, many councillors just like Labour are decent people with good values but as a party they have well and truly shot themselves in the foot. Toepoke
A party of whores. "We'll see who wins then decide who to support". What a waste of a vote. They've been an irrelevance since Ramsay MacDonald became first Labour PM...

irnbruman
To think I voted for them in last few elections in Englandshire. Never again. Even Charles Kennedy who I liked most of all Lib Dem politicians - has sold his soul. Couple of years ago in St Annes , the Lib Dem, councilor came round canvassing for local elections - was fantastic - had a blazing stand up row outside my door - calling Lib Dems for everything - think he got the jist that I wouldn't ever vote for them again. Huddersfield
I've always despised them since I ever first got involved in politics & saw the dirty tricks they use. Many a time I have seen them disguise leaflets as being from another party promoting something ridiculous or describing themselves to Labour supporters as a radical alternative & Tories as a moderating influence at the same time. With few exceptions (& in fairness there are one or two that I have met) they are generally incapable of outlining any genuine political philosophy or belief system on which they base their politics. As a good mate of mine years ago (who went on to be a writer for a leftie journal) once said in a debate; "it's like being half male & half female...you just don't know what the f**k you are"
Stapes
Absolutely no time for them. Served with three of them on council. Nice people, but politically inept. One was quickly quickly persuaded she was a socialist because her surname was the same as a great union leader. So she crossed the floor. The other two spent five solid years voting with Labour on absolutely everything. Pointless.
giblet
we had a completely mad woman working with us at my last job. Was completely useless, a real oddball. She ended up as a libdem councillor for Edinburgh council!

exile
Their longest held ambition or principle was PR. If they did one thing, that would be worth it. They did a deal to get into government, to get their referendum. They lost. Did their leader resign? No! He stayed on, they stayed on, propping up the Tories, as if nothing had happened. He never took the hit, they never took the hit. So just prolonging the time we wait to vote them out. Just 10 days to go.

thorbotnic
I'll be voting for them. Best chance of guaranteeing another hung parliament... Last thing I want is one party having a majority at Westminster. Also the closest thing to a pro-EU, pro-immigration party we have here, other than the greens.
