don't think the harvesters would sell the ticket on no at £3 so my guess is that aye it will sit on the mantelpiece if say the ticket cost £50 or £60 then l would imagine that they would try and sell the ticket best of luck in getting a ticket mate don't think you will have any problems

If I was in the SFA and concerned about harvesting I'd ask the Georgians to keep hold of ticket stubs and ask the owners of missing ones for proof of travel. So Bonehead could be doing someone a favour by taking their ticket off them. Don't know if the SFA actually do that though.

You do realise how easy it is to knock up authentic looking " proof of travel"? The problem the sfa have got is deciding who is " at it " and who is not. I know if I don't go ( I won't know until Friday) I am genuine. But the sfa don't know that. I have all my flight details on email. I also have emails from apartment owners but it could easily have been doctored. So the sfa can't really do much other than make " no shows " collect for so many games.

The electronic ticket checks would be fairly easy, assuming the information is stored.

This was suppose to be the case in Skopje couple of years back, and if you were in early your tickets were scanned, but when the lines started getting massive as the kick off approached they just turned them off and checked all tickets manually

Entrance G

Tier 1

Sector 12

Entrance G, tier 1, sector 12 row 7. In other words behind the goals. Haha!!

Thanks for that folks, i'll know roughly where to try and aim if i dont get a ticket for the away end, i'm on 0 points and on the waiting list, spoke to them yesterday to find out whats happening, the girl on the phone said

"We are getting a lot of cancellations just now but you are about 7 or 8 away from getting a ticket"

Cancellations........ Hmmmmmmm, who'd have thought it

I do think the members only rule for games like this in a huge stadium with relatively few fans travelling is a bit daft. If they're worried about bad behaviour they can demand ID and ban for life people who cause trouble. A member not being able to get a ticket for his son is ridiculous.

Can see you point to a certain degree... How ever they do kids memberships and if they say we will give non members tickets for this game then folk would then whinge if they didn't do it for the next game the sfa and away ticket system isn't perfect but IMO it is the fairest way if they relaxed the rules for one them it would open the flood gates for complaints at other games.... Also there is a possibility that some members that want a ticket won't get one ( unlikely but possible) so do you think it fair give a non member ( regardless of age) a ticket just because his dad is a member?? Sorry don't mean sound harsh or heartless just being realistic ??

I'm sure the Georgians would be happy to supply as many tickets as needed for this, the stadium will probably be 2/3rds empty. All it does is force fans into the home supporters end which is the opposite of what they want to achieve. Where demand outstrips supply of course members should get first dibs but it does seem unfair on younger fans who must find it hard to get on the points ladder, especially with them not accepting new members. There should be some kind family membership deal to cover Greg's problem.
