hunchy Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 The difference between Gerrard's stamp and Jones's challenge is that Gerrard's was intended to harm and Jones's could have been seen as an attempt for the ball. (Henderson only just got to the ball first) as for de maria the ref could see he was sure the ball was out when he caught it.
