TA Sunshine Appeal
In conjunction with the Irish fans' group "Ye Boys In Green" we will be making a joint donation to a charity called "Aoibheann’s Pink Tie". The story of the charity can be found at their website:- http://www.aoibheannspinktie.ie/ "Hello and welcome to Aoibheanns Pink Tie. We are working to build an organisation to help and support Children and their families during their Child's battle to beat Cancer. The idea comes from personal experience, having witnessed how difficult it can be to keep home life as normal as possible during long spells in hospital and long periods away from the family home. All the focus is on the sick child of course, but there is a need to support Mam and Dad and the rest of the Children who may not understand what is happening to their Brother or Sister. The key word to this is "Practical" support. To help the family in the most practical way for their personal requirements this may vary greatly from family to family. That is our Goal - PRACTICAL SUPPORT." During our visit to Dublin for the Carling Cup matches, we jointly donated with Ye Boys In Green to the Jack and Jill's Foundation. It is a pleasure to continue our association. As noted elsewhere, we have been invited to join with Ye Boys In Green on the eve of the match to sample some of the local bespoke products. I hope that we can get some reasonable numbers there to meet our hosts. http://tartanarmyboard.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=3559&p=104838 Edited March 3, 2015 by TA Sunshine Appeal

God bless the charity that is set up to help those families in need of their support.
