kmcca5
This would (Selfishly) suit me down to the ground, would rather they play in Southampton or Brighton, both near to Airports and both in places worth going to for a fair p!ss up. What grounds in London could they hope to fill? I can’t see them using Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal etc because of the cost implications but here are some options…… Loftus Road, Capacity: 18,360 (Quite fancy a trip here before they pull it down, The stands are tight to the pitch, lots of noise can be created and Shepherds Bush has some nice boozers, easy to get to and from, good tube links etc) Craven Cottage, Capacity: 25,678 (Enjoyed visiting here but would rather go somewhere new) Selhurst Park, Capacity: 26,309 (Been before and the ground is old and a bit dilapidated, remember seeing some dodgy looking boozers on the walk there) Boleyn Ground, Capacity: 35,333 (Would love to go to the ground as only been outside it but the area is rough as feck from what I could see) The Den, Capacity: 20,146 (Nice wee ground, not much room inside them though. The pubs in the area are best avoided unless you’re a Millwall fan, been in a few with some Millwall mates prior to match and they filmed Sean of the dead round there for a reason) The Valley, Capacity: 27,111 The Ground looks OK but the area looks like a sh!t hole from my one visit. My personal favorites are… Griffin Park, Capacity: 12,763 how can you not want to see a game at a ground where there is a pub on each corner of the ground!!! Or Brisbane Road, Capacity: 9,271 because it has an amazing supporters bar and a cracking pub with it’s own brewery just up the road, their own ale £2.50 a pint! Both might be a bit on the small side though as I think we could take 20k + if we are in with a shout of qualifying and it is a Sunday so only one days holiday required..... Ooooooh the prospect of this game in London is getting me a bit over excited, may have to go for a lie down. No worries Green Tide - didn't mean it too sound like I was busting your balls. Whatever they decide hopefully they sort it out quickly. Green_Tide_Rising
Dont book anything Jock Strap - the head of their FA has announced they are looking into moving - but nothing has been finalised Dont book for Faro or anywhere else until UEFA confirm where Gibraltar are playing their remaining home matches

They didn't want them in from day one, and the whole Faro thing was to please people who said that they have not got a suitable stadium in their own country to use (and Spain would refuse straight away to let them use any of theirs). Squirrelhumper
I'd be happy with London. Got tons on next year, so a wee day trip on the train would suit me.

Green_Tide_Rising
Tbh lads - i think the whole is a bloody farce - Gibraltar and their F.A should have had there stadium situation sorted well before the Euro games started - Tax issues or no tax issues , its completely unacceptable by them to be issuing stmts saying they are considering a change of venue Its unfair to the Scots, Irish and German fans and UEFA need to sort it out so none of us are affected Most of us (Scots and Irish) would be happy if it was moved to London I think - but equally we both have fans who have already booked flights and accom - and those who have should not be left out of pocket over Gib's incompetence
Tartan Docs
Cannae see the Poles being too chuffed if the other countries don`t have to go to Faro........
Green_Tide_Rising
Cannae see the Poles being too chuffed if the other countries don`t have to go to Faro........ I dont think they will too bothered mate - Gibraltar are a write off when it comes to getting results against any of the bigger teams in the group no matter whey they play. Also as Gibraltar will finish bottom of the group , goals scored against the bottom place team doesnt count AFAIK - so poland really wont care The only thing they mite get a bit peev'd about is the fact they had to go to Faro , but its hardly the other side of the world, so im sure they will get over it
Graham of Montrose
Gib should never have been in it in the first place. Either that or shove them in a pre-qualifying group with the likes of Andorra, Malta ans San Marino. Winners of the wee group get a chance at glory by entering the main draw. France here we come
I've booked flights already so hoping this doesn't come to anything
Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
Aye we booked up months ago after assurances that Faro was set in stone . Judging by the message boards and Robert's buses must be close to 1000 booked already(it's the school holidays). Would urge anyone already booked to email Gibralter FA to put pressure on retaining Faro .
