sbcmfc
Typical the last couple have been alright by all accounts, I'm back for this one and its shite Yeah, 2013 was one of the best summers I can remember, good weather from the end of March, and BBQ weather all summer, we were on Troon beach sunbathing in September and may, June and July were scorchers! (I'm sure August was good too, I just can't remember anything from August) Last year it was nice around this time too,
Charlie Endell
The heat is just a pain in the erse. Cool and a spot of rain suits me.
Ormond
Brutal heatwave over here. Today is officially the hottest day for 3 years. With humidity it's due to hit a 110 fahrenheit heat index. That's 43 celsius. Lucky I have a pool to lay in all day in the garden!

Orraloon
I think this summer has been OK. I've only been rained off the golf course twice. It's been wet but most of the rain has been at night.

Funnily enough I think the opposite. I think this summer has been terrible. Wet, but late evening 9pm-1 am OK.

Are you west coast or east coast? On average west coast gets 4 times as much rainfall as east coast.

And, that's exactly why loads of auld codger weegie westcoasters move across to the east coast of Scotland to retire. Now, I'm all in favour of immigration, but personally I would prefer it to be Poles and Lithuanians rather than weegies.
Squirrelhumper
West Coast is a far better place to retire to. Better scenery, better golf and that's where the countries best city is.

wembley67lisbon
Been a shite summer. Rained just about every day. Last year was decent and 2013 was the best ever.
Charlie Endell
1976 is the only blistering summer I can remember. Mind peeling just about everywhere after a day down at Troon or Prestwick - vinyl seats and no air con for the trip home.
Toepoke
75 was a good one too from my distant memories. I mind swimming in Loch Tay a few times while on holiday up there. 2006 was a good one. I was on the buroo for a couple of months during the World Cup. 3 games of fitba a day in blazing sunshine, perfect timing
