Squirrelhumper
After finishing 2nd 4 out of the previous 5 seasons, kill1e finally became champions of Scotland. Needed a 2-0 against leaders Hearts on the last day and got just that. Will never tire of listening to tales from goalscorer that day Davie Sneddon or from the old boys that sit near me at RP. Drew Real Madrid in European Cup the following season. Neither old firm side finished in top 4 that season. Unbelievable stuff. £25 a week superstars. The club are having an anniversary dinner this weekend with all surviving members attending, with goalie Bobby Ferguson flying in from Australia. We asked for a home tie so the guys could be presented to the crowd /do half time draw but in true SPFL style they ignored it. Might have been different had it been Celtic wanting to fck off to benidorm in the middle of the season. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-93_7Gz5FTQ

wanderer
Davie Sneddon is my grans cousin, so used to get me comps for Killie v Aberdeen games when I went with my dad or Grandfather to games at Rugby Park. Top guy! Used to work beside his Grandson and would bore us in the office to death about Killie and his grandad
Squirrelhumper
Did they give a reason for refusing the request or did they just ignore it altogether? According to the club the SPFL just ignored it. Club have complained. To make matters worse they gave us 18 home games and 20 away!
Parklife
According to the club the SPFL just ignored it. Club have complained. To make matters worse they gave us 18 home games and 20 away! Killie chairman also said that the request was put in a year in advance. Pathetic from the SPFL. Deprived the Killie fans of an excellent day and the club from an additional few quid, due to an undoubted bigger crowd. It's staggering how Doncaster and his cronies manage to feck up almost every decision they are called to make.

Toepoke
Would've been nice to get a home game this weekend but I'll take a 2-0 away win in tribute Always a good atmosphere when we've a decent crowd in Paisley too. Must been amazing being a KFC fan in the 60s. By the time I started going a decade later we were a part time second tier club with 4 figure crowds on a good day. The stories of the glory days seemed unfathomable! Edited April 24, 2015 by Toepoke
Angus_Young
Why the badger is k1llie in the swear filter!I'm assuming we have a clever Ayr fan as a new mod? Piss poor from the spfl btw. I can't imagine you boys will make many requests like that if you ever have. Edited April 24, 2015 by Angus_Young
