Auld_Reekie
I'd like to see Yes Scotland form an alliance to fight the 2015 Westminster election. It's been a great political movement and I think it would deliver a large number of MPs to fight for greater Scottish self determination. Nope. I think there are many who will want this to be the end of the constitutional argument for a while. The only way back for a while, is for the No parties to f*ck up on their promises (which is actually quite likely). If Scotland wanted to take independence, they needed to do it now. Wibble
John redwood - a face you wid never tire of grinding a boot in until it's mush (apologies for paraphrasing G Orwell) is now on BBC2 offering inane pish! He's been a stalking horse for at least 10 years (i'm happy to say) - and, with Weetabix heid in the chair, he'll be stoking up the Daily Wail! readers making them spill their drugged Horlicks. shaddypeekey
If it's a no, quite simply, the people of our country have spoken and that is the sovereign will. I'll get on with it and wonder what's for tea tomorrow.

TartanJon
I already boycott Tesco & Tunnocks and other various local shops mostly run by honky middle class arseholes but it means I'm running out of places to shop in Uddingston.I think I have Lidls and Nisa left. COLT NY
I've advocated for an independent Scotland to family and friends for 20 years. However, If it's a no, with a 80%+ turnout, then I have to concede that it's the will of the people to be a part of the UK rather than a country. I will start referring to myself as British, as that is what I will likely be for the rest of my days.

That's the logical and respectable view of it but we all saw how they bombarded the people with complete and utter lies. If it's a victory for No it's a very hollow one. It can't lead to anything good. Edited September 18, 2014 by thewelk

thplinth
Scotland without the prospect of independence is a one way ticket for anyone with any ambition, out. 432 individuals own 50% of the private land in Scotland. Did you read that article in Tattler about the Scottish toffs? I mean just fukking wow. Honestly I read that and I had to ask myself if I knew who I really was...a Scot or a tenant. I have not really answered it.

Nah. I'm still a Labour supporter here in Manchester - I couldn't not be. Labour will still win the next GE as the Tory vote in the SE and parts of Yorkshire will be split. But, who cares, Scotland will be free.
