What A Trip!

First time ever in Poland and I will definitely be rushing back if we ever draw Poland in a future campaign. Warsaw is a fantastic city, great beer, our hotel on the Castle Square was bang on and the two Ted Christopher gigs were absolutely rocking.

And the stadium is simply the best I have ever been in. Utterly breathtaking. Don't think I have experienced a cauldron such as that one and both sets of fans were in fantastic voice. The 'Can you hear the Poland sing' chant from our boys that bounced around the stadium when we went 2-1 up was just awesome. That will live long in the memory

But special mention simply goes to the Poles. Terrific people who were so welcoming and their fans inside and outside the ground were a joy. Lost count of the number of Poles coming up to shake your hand after the game and wanting to pose for photos.

Top top trip.

Was a great trip, gutted to be home now could have done with another night

Like said, the poles were great for banter and wanting pictures etc but the quines were just superb, we were in a club after the game and the ratio must have been 3 birds to every guy. Superb stuff

The vodka was proper rough stuff, think I'll be avoiding that for a wee while

 away with your nonsense.

Cracking trip. Shame I was only in the city for one afternoon and night.

Met too many people off this board to name them all but they were all sound as.

Need to work on my Polish karaoke though..

We ended up in another bar after there.

Think we got back to our hotel around 5:30am and subsequently ordered a taxi to the airport for 6:15...

Fantastic trip all round! just gutted we only stayed for 2 days!

The polish fans were brilliant on the way to the game, getting photos and wishing us luck.

I was stood at the concrete right at the very back of the stadium and the view was superb! great noise from both sets of fans!

Singing the Fletcher song after the game will live long in my memory!

:ok::ok:

Definitely one of the best trips, if not the best trip I've ever been on! Didn't want to come home (Hod on,I'm sure there's a song in there somewhere!) thank you Polska. And what a stadium!! That's what you call a stadium with atmosphere.

You lot ain't right in the head!

If some boy in my room hadn't got up for a piss at 7am then I'd probably still be out cold in Warsaw just now!

Blame Jock Strap.

If it wasn't for him you wouldn't have ended up drinking with us!

I've been told by one the Polish lassies not to describe my karaoke efforts as awful...
