Serbia V Albania

Recommended Posts

Currently the players are off the pitch. Albanian flags are banned . A drone flew over the pitch with an Albanian flag trailing.Serbian played dragged the flag down and threw it on the floor. Albanian players kick off and it spreads to the stands. Trouble outside pre match as well.

Serbian player was ivanovic. Nae surprise that that c.u.n.t was at the centre of it

Looked like mitrovic from highlights. The Serbs are nuts. It was a greater Albania flag that was flown, they include part of Serbia in greater Albania. Still how many times will the Serbs get away with causing chaos before some serious sanctions are handed out.

Many in Kosovo are ethnic Albanians, and would rather be part of a greater Albania, but Serbia will have none of it. They think they’ve already lost too much of their own territory after the civil war.

Out of interest, how far away physically would you have to be to control a drone like that?

Uefa at fault as much as anyone here. If Armenia and Azerbaijan can't play one another, Spain can't play Gibraltar and I'm fairly sure Russia can't play Georgia - then why on earth can these two play one another!!!

I disagree. If countries can't play against each other, don't let them enter. What would happen if two countries (any two from your examples) qualified for the Finals, should they be kept apart in the groups? What happens if they meet in the knockout stages?

Off at a tangent, but flare related. Did anybody see the video of the Bulgarian fans arriving in Romania on the train. Nut jobs.

Hungary. They played Romania at the weekend.

Bulgaria played Croatia in Sofia. They had a 5 min spat of flinging flares at each other during the game, think it was suspended for a short time.

Completely agree. If you were to follow that example then Serbia, Croatia, Macadonia, Bosnia and Albania should all not be in each other's group due to potential for trouble. If you think the football violence is bad you should see the Basketball violence, a sport they really care about.

If you can't behave, then you should be kicked out. And that's the team that objects to playing, not both.

I'm not disagreeing, but I'd imagine it would matter less in a neutral country (host nation).

Iran played USA at France '98 IIRC.
