Squirrelhumper
Please, all decent posters ignore this troll. He's just looking for a reaction. Is he not a thistle fan? He'll be used to getting the hole ripped out him.
Stapes
Murphy's soapbox tour is a unionist construct to make the ordinary voter believe the 'cybernats' are now threatening people on the streets. It's a complete set-up. Why on earth would Jim Murphy spend his time and energy preaching to the already converted believers bussed in from who knows where? Murphy is a dangerous individual, but his effectiveness will be completely reduced if he's ignored. The real benefit for him is getting abused - that's what he wants. Ignore the sad little cretin. glasgow jock
The nice chap with the reddish hair going up to the YES group and growling "Scottish Bast@rds" in a broad Edinburgh accent btw, what a feckin bellend, acting the hard nut when he's team handed
Redz
Big crowds out in Carnoustie to listen to Murphy talk pish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=837WQ8FNn_g Change of strategy for Jim, in as much as he didn't raise his voice once? (Probably didn't need to as the clapping at the end sounded no more than 4 folk) Bit more of a charm offensive from the lying toerag I'd say, however ultimately the gulls made more sense!!! Auld_Reekie
Murphy's in a tight spot now. Knows eyes will be on him and need's to do a fine balancing act between baiting people and ensuring he doesn't now get videoed being a tube. As long as he's left alone, doubt he'll influence a significant number of people.
Wine bibber
The problem Murphy has is that now the spotlight is on him you are more able to determine what he is saying and just how week his attempts at arguments or factual statements are. Take for example his comment about 3 countries on a small Island and how ridiculous it would be if they were not unified. So total co-incidence that an Island just 13 miles away form the UK is also in that position. So the whole island of Ireland should also be unified also ....His argument just disappears into dust. You don't even need to think about the other Islands or peninsulas in the world .His pish just stops at the first and closest hurdle.Answer that one on a street corner Murphy His egging may be his own undoing yet. Alibi
Oh FFS, he's not still banging on about that is he? The only good thing about that is it suggests that he has nothing more to add to the actual debate - if indeed he ever did! Out of interest, does anyone know if the guy who egged him - the guy whose image has been plastered over the internet for the past five days - has been identified yet? This. The guy in the photo is not wearing any badges to identify him as a Yes voter. Yes supporters on active service usually have a badge of some sort. Bit suspicious. Maq
Interesting..... I'd love it if he was just a disgruntled Labour voter who hated Murphy because of the Iraq war or something!
Auld_Reekie
Im probably speaking too soon but it's very odd how noone from No campaign are jumping on the news on Twitter to highlight that the guy has been arrested (and to end some of the conspiracy theory chat). One user has suggested it was someone with a private grudge with Murphy but that's completely unsubstantiated. The silence might imply they privately know it's now someone easily connected to Yes. killiefaetheferry
I would love it if the egger was identified as not being a Yesser, and Jim had to eat his words about it being some co-ordinated thuggery/mobbery by the Yes campaign. The silence is more likely to imply that it's someone connected to No. how embarrassing would it be if it was an attempt to portray the Yes campaign in a bad light and it was proved that the egger was one of their own? Auld_Reekie
Nah. I think we'd have seen Murphy cancel his tour and withdraw from the debate. The fact he came back out suggests its nothing to do with them in my opinion. Silence is maybe just reflection of fact that noone knows who it is and why he did it. Only way No win here though is if he's an active Yes campaigner given they smeared campaign on back of it. Anything else is going to be a climbdown for them.
