Bald 11
Myself and my mate had a mix up and both got tickets for Dublin game from Seatwave We have 4 tickets for sale (2 in block 507, 2 in block 120), they were £140 for each of them after the fees were added. Can provide proof to show we're not making anything Get in touch if interested. Know it's expensive but we wanted in and paid it
Haitch
I’m undecided about tickets. There are five travelling in my party, all of which were unsuccessful getting official tix. 2 points. My question is, how much am I prepared to pay for a ticket and how much can I get one for. Each man for themselves getting a ticket now. Each person is prepared to pay a different amount. Right now, you are selling tickets at £140. A lot obviously, but what you were prepared to pay for them fair enough. My line of thinking is that tickets will be available on the day of the match unquestionably. As KO approaches, these tickets are worth less and less. 60 mins before KO ticket holders trying to flog extras will be worrying that they won’t get rid of them. Would they accept €50 20 mins before KO for example because sure as anything in 20 minutes they will be worthless. I think I’ll take my chance and turn up at the ground 60 mins before KO and see if I get lucky. I reckon I’ll pick one up for €50 max. Failing that, quick march to the nearest boozer. Squirrelhumper
If I didn't have a ticket and was travelling to Dublin, i'd wouldn't be worried about paying say £50 more than face value. You'd spend half that watching it in pub.
Haitch
Comes down to individual situations I guess. I see it as a lose / lose as in I will be masivley annoyed if I don't get into the stadium but will also be massivley annoyed if I have to pay €150 for a ticket. Bald 11
That's how I viewed it. Face value would be ideal but would've paid £100, when it was £140 my thinking was an extra £40 over the weekend would be ok Anyway, all tickets gone after 5 minutes

I wouldn't be able to settle for a second until I knew I had tickets, I was getting sleepless nights 4 weeks before the game until I got tickets sorted. You have more patients/control/composure than me and fair play to you for it, remind me never to play Russian roulette with you. Haitch
I guess it is because I have been to Prague / Amsterdam / Bari / Dortmund and always been lucky with tickets on the day. My luck has to run out though. Plus also sold tickets at face value right at KO so seen both sides of the fence. Have a great trip anyway

Have a great trip anyway Picked one up at face value in Prague about 5 mins before kick off, also been to Slovenia and other places without and got sorted no bother. Prague was of course a total debacle with ticket sales due to the ssc selling to all and sundry on the day regardless of points etc. If I'd paid over the odds for that game I'd have been well annoyed. Somehow I don't think Dublin will be so bad!

Have a great trip anyway Bari had 1000s of empty seats in Scotland end so it wasn't exactly hard to get ticekts. Full bottom tier and large bits of the tops were empty. Bristolhibby
I remember watching a programme about touts and one guy headed out to Australia for the Rugby World Cup Final in 2003. He lost out as Rugby fans weren't as happy to get fleeced when it came to tickets as football fans, despite paying well over the odds at face value. He sold a pair of RWC Final tickets to two Japanese tourists who were milling around outside the stadium 15 minutes after KO for something like £75 each! Not saying that's a valid tactic in Dublin, but you never know. J
harrystarfish
We bought three 90 EUR tickets for the France game in 2007 as a backup, then we ended up getting Scotland end tickets as we had enough points. I couldn't give them on the day of the game at all - in-fact just before kickoff outside of the stadium I would've taken 5 EUR each. Ended up taking them home with me. Unused tickets for that game with the stub still attached might be worth a bit more than 5 EUR now, considering the result. Could be the same situation for this ireland game - there might just be too many people trying to flog them outside of the ground on the day of the game. hamilton wanderer
No there are plenty of people looking. Anyone who wanted a ticket could buy one direct from the FFR and get them posted to Scotland. I too had a spare I couldn't even give away. Demand will stay high for this game I think but anyone who really wants one will get it

I think that was the case with a lot in Paris. Ours got stolen from he hotel and we went to the Eiffel tower and !damaged to get me ones straight away. There we're at least 15 folk in the same situation and all got a new ticket. Edited June 5, 2015 by Kirk
