phart
Plenty of places, just give me a shout when you're here and i'll make sure nobody sets it on fire for £20. Tesco, railway station (might not be any spaces at 5 though) free carpark out to the east of the town next to bowling club, west port has free parking in front and behind, big car-park next to loch. vennel has free parking. Can park it on the high street as well. You're spoiled for choice really.

I just want to avoid anywhere that's gated over the weekend (car getting blocked in) and anywhere that i'll get a ticket. I'm going to somewhere near the Tesco end of the high street. Where you think is best down there? IIRC Tesco has a 2 hour maximum stay?

It looks part of the same one but isn't. also a bit further along is the new commuter car park to the east of the sports club. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@55.9774525,-3.586971,634m/data=!3m1!1e3check this map EDIT: look to right of sports center will see the car park centered it to middle of the screen. phart
Good man, phart. Thanks a lot That car park then has a path that runs you back to the tesco car park, 5 minute walk at most. It's where I would park.

Is car access by going under the railway arch and up the hill a wee bit, then turning left? Apologies for all the questions!

they've_been_suckered
The car park near the bowling club usually looks not too busy around then and is at the right end of town...
