The Get It Off Your Chest Thread...

People who ask for gluten free food despite not having an allergy.

Groups of 10-20 people who dont phone ahead to reserve a table in a restaurant. Do these people really not see that an unexpected table of 20 can up the service for an hour or so? Oh, then of course they tip 1 euro on a 400 euro bill or something like that after we have bent over backwards to accomodate them

Well, it annoys the life out of me.

I've got to flip down the sunvisor to cut out the hi-density light from people sitting with their foot on the brake sitting in front of me.

Its hardly a blinding light, look at something else don't state at them.

Yes.

100% of people who do it are inconsiderate and shite drivers.

What a ridiculous statement. Says a lot about you. Its neither inconsiderate as people can choose to sit on the break or use a handbrake, no rules say either way. And to claim it makes people a shite driver is laughable. You can't judge them by that. Well you probably can because you are so high and mighty and know everything.

Advises? As in it isn't a rule?

The Highway Code is the definitive set of guidelines covering use of the road and its rules and regulations. The use of MUST/MUST NOT at various points denotes a law, and other parts are advisory. All of it can be used in a court of law.

No, not a rule, but common sense and courteous.

So clearly inconsiderate, just like I said.

Your inability to detect sarcasm is pretty funny also :)

Don't see it as inconsiderate at all, doesn't bother me when other folk do it and never heard of anyone else that it upsets. Oh I can detect sarcasm don't worry about that, you just keep your eyes closed in case the bringht screen gives you a sore head

Saying that if you stood with one leg in a bucket of ice and the other in a bucket of boiling water means that, on average, your feet are at 50C would be right, too.

Not if you only had one foot it wouldn't.

(I've not read the context of what you're talking about here).
