He's onboard and it's no coincidence Killie got beat. Expect a run of bad results. He is out of his depth even at Killie.

Ally was far better with the press though so I'd still say Jig is worse.

Fairbairn
I think McCulloch gets a raw deal from a lot of Rangers fans.

The same as that of all other coaches. Observation and consideration of what he does. Also having met him a few times, and been in the company when football has been discussed. How do you assess managers and their coaching attributes?

Against a team 3rd in the table who have spent a fair bit of cash to sign players better than ours, and although fairly beaten by the better team we remained competitive and it would not have been a complete travesty if we had scored to gain a point. So no, not a great start but at least not a pumping, and with a performance which showed at least some reasons to be cautiously optimistic. Don't you know that it's losing 1-0 away from home to teams in the top three that get clubs relegated

Yeah hearts should really have got the second goal to kill the gamebut Killie showed a bit of fight and caused a few scares in the last 10 minutes. Both teams missed some very good chances in the first half as well.

Would be bigger than winning the cup if we could do it from where we were. Still a lot to do - odds still stacked against us, just a slightly smaller stack than two weeks ago. adamntg
Although, Utd now play twice before Killie play again (away to Aberdeen). It's given it a bit of interest at least.
Squirrelhumper
Gary Locke really did leave a team of spineless diddies when he left. No matter which manager we brought in there's only so much you can polish a turd. Aberdeen and Celtic next two games too. For the first time in my life I don't think I can face the 400 mile round trip to watch us at Pittodrie.
