slasher
Even by our own utterly ordinary standards that was truly pish, Ronny out! Have Aberdeen booked an open top bus for May yet?
SMcoolJ
Even by our own utterly ordinary standards that was truly pish, Ronny out! Have Aberdeen booked an open top bus for May yet? Bit of a hiding to nothing for Celtic today. However, Delia really fortunate with draw given his current state of shoogly pegness. If drawn against almost anyone else still in the cup, it may very well have seen Celtic struggle and Delia binned.

I think they've still got the recent League Cup victory bus which they bought expecting they'd need it every year.
redstevie007
It's difficult for a decent side to play a diddy team in the cup as said diddy team will see it as a chance to prove themselves. EK must be devasted to lose to just such a team.

Does that mean we dinnae have to watch Hearts and their appalling brand of hoofball again ? Thank God.
dan cake
Great battling performance from Hibernian fc, shame they haven't showed more of that in the last 20 years Good game good game as brucie would say
tartanhibee
Thought we were poor in the first half and said to my mate here we go again. Brilliant 2nd half performance and deserved the draw special mention to marvin Bartley who wouldn't have looked out of place in the hearts team great performance. Look forward to the replay at Easter road.
DoonTheSlope
This Hibs team just don't know when they are beat. In years gone by we would have came out in the second half and lost another 2 goals, maybe even last year we wouldn't have got back in it I don't know why Hibs kept playing all these high balls against the probably the biggest team in the country, it was clear we had no other ideas and persistence paid of for Hibs in the end though. Dylan "the tampon" McGeouch injured again, In for a week then out for three FSS!! he's made of chocolate that boy. When he went off we went to shite till half time. Stokes wasn't up to speed today and his set pieces were shite, someone needs to tell him that Liam Henderson is the man for the free kicks Can't say I'm all that impressed with Hearts play but they took the half chances that were presented with them and that's what counts in this game. Totally expected that performance from our maroon brethren today though and we coped no bother in the second half. The result was all the sweeter with them timewasting at every opportunity and get it roond that dirty number 14 Marvin Bartley was my man of the match without a shadow of a doubt. We could really have done without another potential two-hourer in our busy schedule but our names in the hat that's the main thing I'm all for winding up the opposition and loved Adebayors celebration against Arsenal for Citeh but Sam Nicholson should be jailed for that celebration today, hands down at his chapper in a w-a-nking motion towards the Hibs end which would have had a large number of youngsters, if he done that in the street he'd be put on some sort of register All in all a decent performance and let's hope we finish the job and at the Leith San Siro next Tuesday

Stewart_Aberdeen
Jailed? Funny how fans are quick to dish it out but as soon as a player does something they want the jail. Don't think Sky managed to catch what he did if that was genuine. I do remember Lee Wilkie being abused all game at Dens until he was sent off yet as soon as he gave stick back to the Aberdeen fans a few folk started shouting to the stewards/cops to sort him out. Go outside tomorrow my friend and start grabbing yer baws and kid on your pulling the heid right aff it in front of members of the public and see how long you last As I've said in my OP I'm all for fans and players giving and taking that was way over the top today. He should be hammered. I wonder what Dame Budge will make of this, afterall she's trying to turn yous into a family friendly club
hannibal smith
Anyway pretty dire stuff from hearts today as it has been in all of the derbys that Neilson has been in charge of. Wasn't helped by injurys to Buaben and ozturk and having to reshuffle. The decision to sit back for the second half and protect what we had was frustrating and to take off Djoum who has been our best midfielder and bring on Walker was daft. The new signing Daude looked miles off the pace and Juwon just scares me anytime the ball is near him. Hopefully before the replay Buaben, Djoum, Nicholson and walker will get back to full fitness and the new guys will have more of a chance to get up to speed

I wonder what Dame Budge will make of this, afterall she's trying to turn yous into a family friendly club If that's what he did then I hope the club do take action it what happens in a football ground is a bit different to what happens on the high street. If they started lifting everyone in the ground who were making rude gestures then the cells would be pretty full. Same goes for when Griffiths and Cummings have scored in the past at tynecastle and made not very nice gestures and it amuses me to see the fans around me who have been giving them dogs abuse suddenly get a bit sensitive when they give it back. I would like them to take action against the coin throwers on both sides today though but as usual the steward and police looked the other way.
