Good luck to Aberdeen today. Seeing St Johnstone last week they shouldnt present you too many challenges.

There's not a lot to choose from between this weekends fixtures other EK v Celtic and Dumbarton v Dundee

I reckon the big one will go all the way. Hibs will take the lead tomorrow with Hearts getting a penalty or 25 yard we of a wonder goal between 40-50 minutes to take it to a replay with Cummings getting a late winner at Easter Road

yeah Saints were not great last week but they do have a decent record against Aberdeen.

Hope Neilson does not overthink it and change too much like he tended to do in the derbies last season, be interesting to see who he plays at left back whether its Juwon or Mcghee and who joins Djoum and pallardo in the midfield as well as which two he starts up front.

With Daude, Cowie and Souttar coming in, Sow still being available and Nicholson and Walker back from injury it does give him a bit of a selection headache.

Im going with Hears to get an early goal and win 3-1

Fantastic result today for Aberdeen, after a difficult game on Wednesday.

I cannae disagree with you (that'll be a first ;-) ) From where I was sitting, Aberdeen won the first half by a mile, Saints lost the second half. I've been saying for weeks that oor goalie needs to have a word with himself. My pals are beginning to agree with me after today's performance. Aberdeen thoroughly deserved the win, and probably should have won by more (a 5-1 revenge soreline wouldn't have flattered you) But, cor blimey, the last time I saw a ref blow up for full time in the situation he did was the Welsh guy (Clive Thomas?) in the World cup in a game where Brazil scored. Saints player, bearing down on two Aberdeen players in the box, one defender just about to pull him down when the whistle goes. Weird.

Thanks for the honest assesment.

I've insisted for the last couple of year that our most difficult league game has always been against St Johnstone. We always struggle against the collective spirit that Saints have, and more times than not Tommy Wright has the better of McInnes.

In my opinion, that was a better and more important result today than the one against Celtic last Wednesday.

Sometimes all this forum needs is a like button. This is one of these (some)times
