andyg83
I reckon they are getting carried away. They will have 8 to 10k at the very most. They will still be mmassively outnumbered by us. Time for the TA to lift the roof of the place and show them who is at home. I honestly think they will underestimate us. We are playing the sort of football that will starve them of the ball. Really fancy us for this game. Also think we will win in Dublin.
Bzzzz
The SFA could sell Parkheid oot twice for this game, we really need to win it, the SFA MUST give the Irish the SMALLEST possible number of tickets. 8-10k? no chance.
andyg83
I think alot have tickets in home end but only maybe 3k or so max.
McVinceSCT
I think they ll be between 8 000 and 10 000 too. We need to give everything on that night to help our team getting these 3points. IN GORD WE TRUST!
andyg83
It would be interesting to see what the real Irish fans thought of the 'irish scots' that could turn up. Most of the folk I know over there would be embarrassed by them. Their papers saying that there was an away section being set up for scots based irish. I don't buy it tbh. Must be made up. McVinceSCT
We can t know how many Irieland fans from Scotland will be there on that night but i think it had a part in the way tickets have gone so quickly.
andyg83
Whatever happens we may make it as hostile as possible in terms of noise. We will be outnumbering them 5 to 1. Only worry is that some idiot sings the famine song or something and it ends up in the papers. The media up here would love to label is a sectarian. thplinth
Ok Parkie I am not stoking up an argument here but why does this thread exist if the choice of parkhead gave no advantage to the Irish?
andyg83
Because their message boards are full of people posting about them buying tickets
andyg83
If the sfa hadn't screwed up the prices it would have been sold out before the public sale.
andyg83
Will the sfa cancel tickets from Irish addresses?
Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
Surely the SFA have thought about this issue? The draw was made 8 months ago. Maybe not...
thplinth
Come the day I can see the irish having a much bigger crowd than they would had this been any other ground. And some are saying this is a pivotal game. So why play it at parkhead (parklife)?
Al2014
How many home tickets were bought by supporters club members?
thplinth
20,000 is what I would expect from them at parkhead. It will be almost like a world cup game.
scottincarlisle
So why play it at parkhead (parklife)? Was Parkhead not Strachan's preferred choice for this match ?

thplinth
Because it holds 10,000 more than any other available football stadium in Scotland? Yes edit: oh and jetpacks, they will be hovering above the ground en masse. edit: actually I just think they will buy up a lot of loose tickets due to this venue. Doric
5000 - 6000 max I reckon and even then they will be scattered. No advantage at all.We will make all the noise.

iainmac1
SSC members should have been offered the chance to buy a second ticket for this one. If too many applied then ballot to see who gets second ticket. Game sold out and no chance of away fans buying them.
