stuart14
Hi, Taking the kids (7 & 9) up for Qatar game as schools down here have an extra week off, I don't know Edinburgh at all....does anyone have any pointers as to any venues with a bit of atmosphere & music where I could take my them to prior to the game ? Their first game was v Gibraltar & they loved The Shed then so don't want to disappoint ?. Cheers Stuart - Blackpool TA

jenblueeyes
But it's still open isn't it ? I think it shuts a few hours before kick off because of the wedding but I'm not sure. WESTA normally go there but we aren't this time - getting dropped off at a pub up in London road instead.
tartanmartin
But it's still open isn't it ? there's a ticket only (unfortunately, no tickets left) pre-match function in the smaller hall. the large hall is closed for the wedding. the bar in the stand at Easter Road will be open and kids are permitted in there. Could this be behind the goals rather than the Hibs club as when i messaged the club they were unaware of any wedding on friday?

jenblueeyes
Where did this wedding rumour come from? J It was mentioned at a WESTA meeting a few months back when we were discussing what we were going to do. I think it was an up and coming Tartan Army DJ that mentioned it but I could be wrong. I wasn't at Sunday's meeting but just been informed our bus has tickets for the ETA party which is normally in the big room but in the small room this time. tartanmartin
I got this from the Easter Road Conference & Events Sales Manager a couple of weeks ago: Could you please just put some information up on one of your boards regarding the below: ‘’A cash bar will be open in the North Stand from 5pm onwards on the evening of the Qatar match with a food and drinks offer available which is yet to be confirmed’’ Any questions please just let me know! We are just keen to let fans know that we will have facilities open on site J
