  1. My tipping points:- Home Games - Lithuania 2016 WCQ. Utter shyte, no more to be said. Over priced accommodation in Glesga, crap atmosphere, crap manager & crap team. Away games - After years of following Scotland away I'd had enough after the Wales & Belgium Double Header WCQ 2012. Would rather spend my money going on holiday in the sun for a week. Mind you have had some brilliant laughs along the way. Can't honestly see me going to another Scotland game for a while after GS being backed up100% by the clowns at the SFA. Any other job in the World he'd have been fired long ago. Laughing stock.
  2. The SFA have just sold all coverage rights to the 'Comedy Store' channel on Sky TV, as this current manager & team are the biggest joke they've had on TV for years.
  3. My sentiments exactly RB. The music pre-match & half time is great for getting the crowd going but as for putting it on after a goal what a load of bollox, the 'Hampden Roar' is more than sufficient.
  4. Confused.com Wish that dancing Robot - Brian, would fall into a bath of Sulphuric Acid
  5. Tragic that this has happened again, those Pumas are death traps & should be scrapped now. Remember landing in one of those things in Esbjerg a few years ago, thought it was raining outside only to find the window was covered in Hydraulic Oil leaking from God knows where, far preferred the old Sikorsky 61. Boat transfers where I'm at now, a lot safer. RIP lads.
  6. New York Berlin San Francisco Edinburgh Rome Buenos Aries looked nice but was only passing through.
  7. Good chance we do share the same ancestors Hampden Loon. My Great - Granny was a 'Buchan' from St.Combs. Her ancestors included Buchan's of course, Strachan's, Greig's, Lawrance's, Cardno's & Penny. Found out some interesting stuff about some of these.
  8. I researched my family History a few years ago, got back to the mid 1600's. All Scots on both sides. Fathers Side:- All from 3 fishing villages on the Buchan Coast - Cairnbulg, Inverallochy & St.Combs (Charlestown). Mothers Side:- Mostly from the NE - Rosehearty, Fraserburgh, New Aberdour, New Pitsligo, New Deer. Also - Eyemouth, Leith, Edinburgh, Inverness, Kiltarlity.
  9. I get my stuff from here - http://shop.collegeofpiping.org/ I have a David Naill practice chanter & bagpipes, does the job for me like. Go for the longer practice chanter, this will benefit you for when you go onto the pipes.
  10. Same here Les...Lets hope we get through & are home next time for a nice wee away trip
  11. Really? Well that must go for the majority of ex-pats I know working down here then.
  12. If you'd ever worked in Azerbaijan you'd know what I was on about.
  13. I'm offshore on Nightshift in Azerbaijan just now, the humidity is a nightmare, not a breath of wind. I'm not a Celtic fan by any means but I really do hope they hump these Azeri twats.
