Pubs Before Game

Hello,

I'm travelling up from Cardiff for the weekend of the Gibraltar game. I'm hoping to be able to get two tickets for the Match, and am looking for Ideas of pubs to go in before the game. Will be staying in Glasgow centre, and would like a bar with great atmosphere - I know they'll all be busy!

Cheers,

Nigel

Hi nigel, do you go to watch cardiff reguarly ?

I know alot of fans were voting with their feet because of the change of shirt colour from blue to red.

How is david marshall this season ?

Are you in contention for a play off spot ?

Hi , Yes I go to every home game- I'm a Steward in the Away End. It's true the fans are voting with their feet, but also because the football is absolutely dire.

In my opinion,I've seen Marshall do better, but he's injured at mo.

I think relegation is more likely than play offs!!

You'll get tickets no problem. Just check out the SFA website after the members sale finishes.

Where are you staying ? We are in the Ibis budget on Springfield Quay for the night.

who's the best and worst away fans you have seen at cardiff? Is football hooliganism still an issue ? Are the soul crew still active?

It must hurt that swansea are in the top division.

I will be in the iron horse on the sunday before gibraltar game if you fancy a pint

It's difficult to gauge the Best/Worst issue. Obviously I'll say the Best were the T A, in the games against Wales, The Worst?, obviously we have our fierce rivals ,Swansea, never a 'nice' atmosphere when they come, but with any club, it only takes a handful of fans to spoil the day for everyone.Hooliganism seems to be subsiding ,with better controls, monitoring etc. The Soul Crew?,I'm sure there's large numbers who will always 'be together' at games, who will always be affiliated with the name.

Pint in Iron horse sounds good. Will they open late on Sunday? I'll,PM you

Vicy bar across from the Pandora will have either a dj or live music on and pub opens at 11 on sundays, kids are welcome and any bus that wants to book in let me know.

Bairns in the Vicky Bar?! FFS. I hope Rantzen doesn't hear aboot this!!

I actually passed it earlier (circa 11:05). Auld Mannie nearly went heed first onto Victoria Road.
