I watched some of the coverage of the build up to the England v France match tonight and heard some of it as well on the radio - the media were falling over themselves to describe it in advance as an incredible demonstration of togetherness encapsulated in the mass singing of the Marseilleise but I didn't see (or at least the camera didn't pick out) anyone in an England shirt singing and all I could hear was a really loud PA system.

I'm not doubting that many did indeed sing it but the desire to report what was about to happen before it happened (if it even did happen) was very noticeable. I suppose the only point I'm making is that the media are utterly full of shit on this issue.

On a related note, has renowned hater of all things Gallic, Jeremy Clarkson, commented on all of this yet?

Looks like some sort of closure on the hunt for the other terrorists. Seven of them holed up in an apartment in St Dennis in Paris. Two of them dead and three in custody so far.

Listening to 5 live they suggested that one of them was the brother who has been on the run since Friday and another is the alleged mastermind behind the whole thing. If the latter is there some serious questions will have to be asked as he has been presumed in Syria.

A woman in the raided flat apparently blew herself up with a suicide belt. Do they were them while sitting about the hoose?

I assume they knew the flat was about to be raided...

She was a jihadi baśtard. These jihadi bastards are born wrapped in Semtex, waiting for the opportunity to blow themselves up in the name of their stupid Allah.

I can't believe that people think the good free countries of the West should enter a dialogue with these jihadi bastards.

The jihadi bastards only know how to speak one language - hate - there is no dialogue with that.

Our tactics should be double pronged - like antlers.

Firstly, it's best that we boycott the Islamic State culturally. It would be a really strong statement if Coldplay would come out and say that they will not play any gigs in IS held concert halls this year. Or if Aaron Sorkin could find the time to pen and produce a fast-talking hard-paced liberal vision drama series of how life should be in Daeshland.

Secondly, don't buy goods made by the Islamic State - yes this might be a hardship too far for many but we have to be realistic and try to avoid giving them as much money as we can. Buy Bang and Olufsen instead.

If we adopt these strategies we'll have the jihadi bastards on their knees in no time.

Great dogs, my friend has one. Basically Belgium shepherds, loads of special forces etc use them. so quick and agile, can get over massive fences in split seconds.

My friends one does agility as opposed to dragging down armed persons though.

It is now way, way over the top, there were two England supporters interviewed on BBC (I thinbk) stating that they were fighting for freedom just like their Grandad by going to the match.

I heard someone on the radio saying that this indicated they were just popping out to commit another atrocity - this was based on hee haw as far as I could tell. I however think your conclusion is far more likely.
