I sit here with a Talisker in hand and I honestly didn't believe I would ever see the day in my lifetime where we had the opportunity to walk to a polling station to answer 'Yes' to a question such as the one that has been put before us. I honestly don't know how this one is going to go. I really don't. Minds will have been made up already despite the desperate intervention of Westminster leaders who are only up here to save themselves. But I pray that my fellow countrymen see through the spin, smears and downright lies and takes us to something that we could have only have dreamt about only a couple of years ago - a country of our own.
