Booked the train through Trenitalia and was 36-50 Euros a skull. On the Davy bus after game, pick up stuff at hotel, few pints and train.....that is the plan.

A m8 has to go to New York for work so can't make the game, and has booked same flights as me - Friday 16th Nov 2215 Heathrow to Athens arrive 0350 - Saturday 17th 0835 Athens onwards to Tirana arriving 0900. Plan was head straight to Skhoder, hotel booked for 1 night, then head to Tirana next day, hotel booked, then to the Airport Monday for; 0940 to Athens, then the 1325 to Luton arriving 1530. Might suit somebody living down South, but I will be travelling down to Heathrow from Glasgow then back up on the Monday Anyone interested in a decent deal / name change and whatever, let me know and I'll link you up......

I sort of remember my first away game......Israel in Tel Aviv......Kenny scored in a 1-0 win....just remember the grown ups giving me Willy Low bags full of McEwan's Export to carry through customs lol....Stepped off the plane and there were women with guns - Jeeeesoh......Remember Kenny Burns having a good game and Willie Miller coming on for John Wark (I think).....Kenny went off and big Andy Gray came on........IIRC there were loads of Israelis with the same name....thinking a proper sort of Jewish name....but no sure - hope I'm not stereo-typing...........Got a photo with Jock but it was on a disposable camera and I must have disposed of it - gutted.............

I looked at this but chose not to for 2 reasons.....think we'd have struggled to get there that night as we don't get into Venice until 1720 and it involved a couple of changes..Villa Opicina, I think....that would have been fraught with danger the state we'll be in by that time.......lol

Seemed the easiest an low fuss way of getting from Venice to Ljubiana and only cost 135 Euros for 3 return....Go Opti. If anyone is still looking at how to get from Venice instead of trains and buses with multiple changes at the border, this seemed easier.

That's about it GTA...done the same myself. They have the Slovakia game tickets for June 10 on there now. I checked out an English forum from their last two games there and apparently they were buying them in Supermarkets as well as from the Lithuania FA......

Agree with Doonhamer - We are only moving onto Ljubiana because we touch down a lot earlier...If we got in at 2000, we would have the night in Venice.
