John_B81
Hopefully another Dons win to beat last seasons points tally and close the gap on Celtic temporarily at least.

ShedTA
This looks like a straight forward win for the dons to me. Can't see utd getting close to them in this game.

ShedTA
What happened with Robson? Lashed out with his elbow apparently.
AberdeenAngus
Lashed out with his elbow apparently. Certainly didn't appear to be a proper lash out. My son thought it was a case of using his arm for balance before playing a long pass. Will reserve judgement until I see it on tv though. It was the only thing that threatened to make the game a contest. Utd look like a side who are desperate for the season's end.
SMcoolJ
Looking forward to seeing the Robson incident again. Seemed to try and hold Telfer off. Linesman made the decision after what seemed like quite some time and having seen the reaction of certain players (see below). Sure this will come as no news to Utd fans but they are literally a shadow of their former selves. Fair enough GMS and Armstrong have gone and they were missing the likes of Dow today. However, more worrying were the perceived excellent signings of Dixon and McGowan. They were both poor. I'd argue they're both past it without even knowing how old they are! Hope it was just one-off bad days for them. As per above, the real shocker was Ciftci though. He's a player that 6 months ago I would loved to have had at the Dons. He seems to have gained weight, an even worse attitude, a superiority complex over his own team mates, lost quite a bit of ability and any of the marginal pace he had. Add to that his diving about and screaming, he is quite simply somebody I would not want to see anywhere near a dons strip. It was quite depressing seeing Utd being so poor (and I mean that sincerely). Despite what the shoreline might suggest, it was no contest today. adamntg
Ditto. Am oot in Spain and didnae even ken this game was on until the noo and unsurprisingly we lost again. Amazingly, after 38 years of following Scottish fitba, Dundee Utd have almost managed to scunner me of it completely this season. Maybe I'll manage to regain some interest for the new season . Maybe no.

The day though, I enjoyed watching Barca v Valencia in a pub on the beach with a sangria or two and no giein a toss who won. Bottom line is that we both support teams that survive on the occasional purple patch. Would be much easier to be a shameless glory hunter. But that would be boring and meaningless. Have some mare sangria and enjoy your hols...... Edited April 18, 2015 by SMcoolJ

I admire much about Barcelona, their resistance to fascism, their democracy, their indefatigability in the face of Spanish nationalism, but I just can't help feeling that they've enough support already and wishing somebody in Spain would give a toss about the little guy. Espanyol must hate their guts.
