International Rugby Turning Into Club Rugby

Am I the only one getting hacked off with International Rugby turning into Club rugby?

A very talented Bath player of ours Rokoduguni born in Fiji, joined the British Army has been selected to play for England.

Scotland has Tim Visser who by way of IRB eligibility rules only needed to play for a Scottish team for 36 months, before coming eligible!

The New Zealand team is like a Pacific Islands Barbarian team.

How will International rugby spread across the globe if the big 10 countries just pinch players.

Imagine if Fiji had all the Fijian players playing for it. By all means work and play in the country of your choice, but have some respect for your country!

Football at times seems bad, but International Rugby is becoming a joke.

Roko is quoted saying "It would be a massive honour to serve England at rugby". Serve WTF?!?!

Incidently although not that it affects the price of fish but Rokoduguni served in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards - A Scottish Regiment.

I agree it's stupid and does the "wee" nations out of good players as well.

Don't mind if that rokoduguni plays for England tho. Think it was tommy Seymour who beat him to the ball when glasgow made a box kick - an incident which led to one of the tries.

Although it will probably do us good when Strauss qualifies during the World Cup, it could adversely affect us with samoa's planned team.

It's ridiculous in my mind, but there are difficulties around it as well. How long do you have to wait to become a citizen in some countries? It's 5 years in the UK by naturalisation, but 3 years if you're married to an existing UK citizen. So should there be different waiting times depending on your marital status? Other countries have shorter times for naturalisation, some longer.

Rugby's been like that for quite a few years.

One of the first I noticed was a former all black (I think) playing for Japan (may have been a Fijian or Samoan?).
