We were the best placed until Russia got awarded a three-scud so if it went for us it would be as you were

It'll no be that anyway

It depends as we would have "played" one game extra. Russia would have another game to play and it would depend on that score before we know where we would be.

I am not sure why there are so many responses to a very hopeful post about the awarding of the game 0-3. That is one outcome that is almost out of the question. Closed doors/neutral venue and a fine is far more likely, if they don't just fine them. It would be pretty harsh on our fans if they close the doors or move it away from Georgia. Playing in front of no fans would also be a strange experience for our players and could impact the result.

My post was about us actually winning 0-3 as opposed to us being awarded the result. But, I suppose both are equally unlikely.

today per BBC article below..

Scotland will discover on 21 May if their Euro 2016 qualifier in Georgia will be played behind closed doors.

Uefa meet next month to decide if the Georgian Football Federation (GFF) will face sanctions following crowd disturbances at the weekend.

Play was halted twice during the 2-0 defeat by Germany in Tbilisi on Sunday when supporters invaded the pitch.

Cases against two other Group D sides - Poland and the Republic of Ireland - will also be heard at the meeting.

The Football Association of Ireland will answer charges of improper conduct after Martin O'Neill's side received five yellow cards in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Poland.

And the Polish Football Federation have been cited after visiting supporters were found guilty of "setting off of fireworks/throwing of objects" at the Aviva Stadium.

Georgia's next home match is against Gordon Strachan's Scotland in September.

The sides have met already in Group D, when a deflected Shaun Maloney shot gave Scotland a 1-0 win at Ibrox in October.

Scotland kept their qualifying hopes alive with a 6-1 win over Gibraltaron Sunday, and are currently third on 10 points alongside world champions Germany.

Strachan's men face Republic of Ireland in Dublin in June before the trip to Georgia.
