the_burger
"His spokesman said he did not know whether the attacker was an Israeli, an EDL-supporter, or whether he had another motive." Sounds like a CYBERNAT to me
Jonny
That's awful. George was the most famous person on the planet for one day. And his day, in front of the Senate was a great day. He did a good thing. Unfortunately, he couldn't let it go and has forever since thought he should rightfully still be up there, telling the world his thoughts and invoking anger. He's now nothing more than a provocative erse and if somebody's smacked his pus, well it's been a long time coming.

Pool Q
That's bad. He is an odious self-publicist, but he doesn't deserve that.

EddardStark
not good. Free speech and all that. Galloway can be easily dismantled in debate unless he chooses to walk out the debate, which he has done on a few ocassions.

Khana Lagur
No sympathy for him. He's a cretin who thinks he can say what he likes and offend who he likes. GG might have TV and the media to espouse his views but most people only have a chance meeting in the street to do so. Seems this person took their chance to teach him a lesson on bearing responsibility for his actions.

weekevie04
I used to actually like him until I realised he's just a gobshÃte. He was championed as a great debater etc, he is not. He is a great orator, yet if you listened to his talkSHITE radio show - you would hear he merly shouts or fades down the voices he didn't like or agree with. I thought he liked Salmond. Didn't he even up to the last few years, say he didn't like the SNP, but he enjoyed Eck's company and found him a good guy? Or is that all BS? Wibble
No place for this type of thing. If it was because he was wearing a green cat suit, fair enough, but not 'cause of his politics - it's wrong. I used to rate the guy, not any more, but he's entitled to his beliefs, however skewed they are. IMHO. That said, if you sup wi' the devil, you need a long spoon. Now I'm not in favour of violence, but I did have a wee giggle when I heard he got a doing. To be honest, I'm amazed he has had more.
