killiefaetheferry
Just laughed at the lassie on 5 live - in the London Welsh Centre with fans, male voice choir etc. She tries to set up a big cheer by saying how it's a massive fixture between Wales and England as one is likely to out, and that "Let's hope it's Australia that goes out though....." There's a few seconds silence as she waits for a Great British cheer, only for the Welsh guy she's been talking to to go, "Nah, we're all hoping England go out !" Cheers follow.....comedy Gold. She's obviously absolutely incredulous at this shocking attitude, so she keeps digging - " We're all from the same island though, surely when England play Australia you'll be rooting for the English ?" , the guy says, "No, at that game we'll have 400 Welsh Australians in here." northernscum
Excellent! The English media keep giving us the same old patronising pish "Oh, but we would be supporting you", and thereby expecting us all to support them on to world cup glory. Inverdale would have been spitting blood!

wellyman
I was at the Rugby 7's in Dubai 2 years ago and met up with group of guys from the southern hemisphere and they commented about how the Scots love to beat the English, so i asked them who they most liked to beat on a rugby field, the south african and the aussie's all said England !!! - which surprised my mates from England When i asked the kiwi if he also liked to beat England the most ? - he just said who !!!!! There were some particularly obnoxious English in front of us at Kingsholm. Took great delight in reaching over them to high 5 fellow Scots multiple times in the second half. Tw@s. Ps I was wearing a Japanese headband. J

northernscum
Clearly not. Only song I've heard so far. Actually quite a poor atmosphere for such a big game. Quite a poor game altogether. Take away the over hype and the game itself is pretty bland, just a kicking contest, which, to be fair, is being done pretty proficiently so far. That's the bit I have been looking forward to, the inevitable post mortem. "Sir Clive's" pus is a thing of beauty.
