the Sunnylaw Jag
Damn for a minute there I got my Lancasters mixed up with my Doncasters; maybe next time. Edited November 11, 2015 by the Sunnylaw Jag
Flora MaDonald
Not a bad lad. Apparently the players are all bitching about each other too - sounds a total shambles
HaggisNeepsNTatties
Not a bad lad. Apparently the players are all bitching about each other too - sounds a total shambles Let's hope it continues. With England ranked 8th and us 9th and the world cup draw next year, the 6 nations will be huge. Would be great if we could knock them from 2nd to 3rd seed.. irnbruman
Pisses me off when ill informed people regard rugby head coaches as similar to football managers. The rugby head coach can do tactics etc and have an influence with substitutions..where lancaster fooked up against wales..but the biggest influence are the players on the pitch..especially the captain. England succeeded in 2003 because they had an immense captain in martin johnson and strong backup throughout the team .
COLT NY
I don't see the distinction between an international rugby of football coach. In the end of the day neither's going to score the winner, and it's down to the players they select on the day and the tactics they're given. Duncan Blackheart
Loads of people I know have met Lancaster a few times and to each one he comes across as a decent bloke. However, the players don't deserve him. Also, England have nicked Eddie Jones from the stormers. I was looking forward to the stormers doing well this year under him and was pleased he was leaving Japan for there (ek is a stormer!). However, now he's gone to England, he's clearly schite. I just hope that the Glasgow - Northampton game isn't a portent of the Calcutta cup match. It shouldn't be with edinburgh's front row and hardie, but we need to get re-starts sorted pronto or we're toast.
