fetish
How about the SFA see sense and try and fill the place. Fans of both teams at full prices will see a 30,000 crowd at most. Make it £15 for adults and fiver for kids and you might fill the place with neutrals who just fancy a day out at a final. Any reduction in income can be offset with a much lower cost for policing! jimstroma
Really looking forward to now. Obviously ICT will be favourites, but I am confident the Bairns can win. 3 weeks without a competitive fixture might be an issue though

macy37
Why should the SFA drop prices just because teams are badly supported?
Doric
They will need to shut 3 stands to try and make it look as though there is a crowd there or better still play it at Firhill or Kirky Rob Roy.

Geed
Final should be played at Easter Road now, makes sense, no way ground will be filled with lets be honest genuine Falkirk or Caley fans. Reckon one stand be enough for Inverness 6000 tickets and Falkirk could sell around 12,000, would make for better atmosphere in the final if played at Easter Road
wanderer
What did Falkirk sell at their last final (v Rangers?) few years back? These finals get loads of fans/towns/communities out of the wood work (Ross County had a healthy crowd v United few years back, and ICT fans showed up for the League Cup final at Celtic Park last year), so think you could easily be talking a 90% full Hampden. sbcmfc
The fact they both have a decent chance of winning it, means the fans will turn out.

Geed
You sound like an old firm fan. No i am a Motherwell fan but if it was any other team in the final apart from Inverness or Ross County in the final from Scottish Premiership then would say play it at Hampden, but inverness and County supports is lets be honest rotten, just saying it be a much better atmosphere at Easter Road, give Falkirk 3 stands and inverness one then all the fans that actually go to the games get a ticket and folk who genuinely are fans of both teams. Struggling to find any sort of logic in this. Ok I'll play devils advocate here. Had Motherwell got to the cup final, I take it you would have been happy with 4000 tickets given that's around your average home support?
