EddardStark
Watching Fluminense v Corinthians at the moment. Turgid stuff. I don't think I have ever watched a decent game from this league. The league must suffer terribly due to talent drain to other countries for players to ply their trade.
GRBear
Aye I watch the odd game as well, some of it is pretty grim but they do score some crackers as well. Robinho is playing for Santos these days.
sbcmfc
I've listened to Tim Vickery talk about it several times, and to try and sum it up. "They try and win the game on moments (ie set pieces) rather than on flow" Sounds like it's very cynical, and all about winning yards almost, as opposed to the flair and brilliance we associate with Brazilian football. Davied14
Average of 60 fouls a match I'm sure I read. That is about two or three times the amount you get in a standard SPFL or EPL game. They only embraced a league format fairly recently too, some of the rules they have enforced through the years in the competitions have been brilliant: "Everyone qualifies for the second round." "Lowest placed team who have never won the championship gets relegated." Are two that always stuck in my mind.

I watched the 2nd half of this too and was struck by the very low attendance and the state of the pitch - as well as Fred continuing to be crap up front. Surely a team in a city with a population of 6 million can sell their seats or is the product really as gash as last nights match confirmed? OLAS
Big fan of Argentinian fitba, but rarely see it on the telly any more. Was normally end-to-end, big crowds and a few goals regardless of who was playing.
