We are currently the best 3rd placed team. 10 of the 13 groups have concluded. The other three have started and finish this week. Of those three groups - Group 6 - The top 2 have won 2 out of 2, so whoever finishes 3rd will have 0 points (as the result v bottom doesn't count in 3rd place table). Group 7 - The top 2 have won 2 out of 2, so whoever finishes 3rd will have 0 points (as the result v bottom doesn't count in 3rd place table). Group 8 - Last games on Monday. This the dodgy one. I think a score draw in the Israel v Ukraine match would put us out. I think anything else would see us finish best third place and give us a major get out of jail card. Maybe tartanpar can confirm? I now think the only way we can go out is if Bulgaria beat Sweden and Israel beat Ukraine. I wouldn't put much money on that happening.
