OLAS
Almost a carbon copy of what happened at Firhill v Aberdeen. Ball flighted in, an offside ICT player makes a little move towards it, puts Gallacher off but is then flagged offside. Different referees, different outcome. Presumably from your description the player did interfere with Gallacher's ability to save it as it ended in the net. In the Aberdeen game Goodwillie stepped pulled back allowing Gallacher to save it. Will look at the highlights later on.

You also should check what Goodwillie did when the ball was approaching him/in his vicinity. It's not hard to argue with video evidence. He clearly moved towards the ball then ducked out of the way at the last second. Here's the ICT incident - starts at 4 minutes.

Quite difficult to tell how much he is interfering from that angle tbh
Strong Like Ox
Quite difficult to tell how much he is interfering from that angle tbh This. But he doesn't help his case much by extending his arms out just prior to Raven's shot. If Mckay doesn't do that, I reckon Beaton wouldn't have a potential offside on his mind. They just have to make a judgement call from where they are. Decisions like that will always throw up a bit of inconsistency. The Aberdeen one is a prime example. I read the posts about it at the time and there were folk disagreeing, and that was after seeing several replays.
OLAS
The cameras did their best to miss the behind-the-goal angle so it was pretty difficult to see what McKay did. Both Mixu Paatelainen agreed that this type of decision needs looked at. It sounded like Ross County lost a goal from something similar recently.
