Magnum
Although I understand that we are not going to be able to pick specific seats, when the ticket sale opens, can those more familiar with Easter Road, please advise which is the most comfortable/best stand to try and get tickets in ? scottincarlisle
The old East stand used to be the place to be.
giblet
New East stand is great, pretty steep, try and get row P upwards.

Robroysboy
I was in the east for the Australia game, great view. Highly recommended. However for a wee change I am going to get a ticket for the famous 5 stand.
scottincarlisle
At the T&T game I was in the West Stand next to the padded comfy seats & that's a good view up there.

I'd also say the East stand is the best stand at ER, it's pretty steep but it's a great view!
giblet
Famous Five Stand has a good view on top tier. Also there is a bar in that stand, dont know if there are plans to open it for this game. Two large halls. Nonsense you cant pick your seat though. The first 10 rows of the East, are open to the elements, if you end up there, hope there is no rain. Also the West Stand seats dont have the same legroom as the East, although not as bad as Killie. one to consider for the giants amongst us. giblet
picked up 7 a few rows in front of you no need for your usual matchday attire here.
The Lowlander
The Easter Road plan on the Hibs page shown above has 9 sections in the East Stand sections 37-45. The SFA are only selling tickets for section 37 - 42 does anyone know why?

The SFA are only selling tickets for section 37 - 42 does anyone know why? probably just not releasing sale of the other sections to allow for easy public sale of designated sections later on, as you look at the east stand that must mean they are selling from left to right. hannibal smith
no need for your usual matchday attire here. Not about time one of your lot wrote another letter about it ? I have actually moved my season ticket out of the main stand and am sitting in section J now.
wanderer
2 tickets purchased for East Stand in block 41. Sat in Main stand for T&T game years ago, but enjoyed the East Stand for the Australia game, so went with that again.
Bawz
Anyone know which stand is the designated family one? It could be the crap out of date internet browser at my work but it doesn't appear to say which one on the SSC website.

STARSKY
scottincarlisle - We are s/t holders at ER and yes double letter rows are at the back of the East stand we are section 40 row EE and we are 5 rows from the back of the stand - great view One thing I would mention to those who have onward connections after the game it takes a fair bit of time to get out of the East stand when the final whistle goes if your seats are at the back of the stand, so if catching trains etc I would leave a couple of mins before the end
