adamntg
I'd prefer to see another striker called Steven called up in place of Chris Martin, just for a laugh.
The Boss
Dissapointed not to see GMS in the squad, easily the best attacking player in Scotland. Pleased to see May and Gauld in for experience though.
Lion Rampant
Really surprised to see Gauld in there considering he's not in the first team at Sporting. Heard a few things on twitter etc that he had been impressing for the B team and that their fans wanted to see him in the first team. I'd imagine that for him and May their inclusion is mainly for experience due to there being no U21 game and that they're unlikely to get any game time. wanderer
Pleased to see May and Gauld in for experience though. I think May will become a long term fixture in the squad now as that is this crop of U21's finished now.
runningtings
Injured and suspended for one game Ta, knew he was suspended for one.

His inclusion is probably no different than Ryan Jack being called up for the Croatia game, Pawlett for Nigeria and McGregor in the last one. Probably more for experience than anything else, but good to see.
Bannannan
What has happened with Bardsley?
1320lichtie
What has happened with Bardsley? Just out of favour with Strachan, disappointed not to see Cairney/Rhodes/Russell but happy otherwise.
Caledonian Craig
Great to see Gauld called up and I welcome it. He has already proven himself at SPL level and his inclusion in Sporting's Champions League squad says what they think of him for the future. I doubt he will feature for us in the upcoming matches but he has the potential to be a big star for us so why hold back? Get him in. McVinceSCT
I thought Georgia at home was a perfect opportunity for a striker like Rhodes...
girvanTA
No Cairney or Rhodes again! A wee bit disappointed
Bzzzz
Gutted there's no GMS otherwise no too bad.
GMScotland86
plenty to be excited about, and encouraging considering the quality that has missed out
BankieNat
Pleased by the team, no great surprises apart from maybe Burke (I think there are better players out there) - delighted that Gauld and May have been called up, I agree that it will be for the experience but it allows WGS a chance to have a close look at them both and it will be brilliant for the confidence. Fairbairn
Gutted there's no GMS otherwise no too bad. We've reached our Steven quota with the 3 forwards and Whittaker. UEFA rules stipulate only 4 players with the same name (First or last) are allowed to be selected in the one squad....
Brummie Hibs
No Rhodes. I feel really sorry for the lad.
Squirrelhumper
I think there's an issue with Rhodes.
Hope
I feel for Rhodes, he can't do much more to get in the squad, hoping he doesn't loose heart though. I was positive he'd be a talisman for us, but he's hardly had a proper chance in a Scotland shirt and he's 24 now. Although it's hard to argue against the fact that Naismith is perfect for the system, Rhodes would be great to bring on. Also feel for GMS, he's deserved a proper chance for a while now, i still think his time will come though. However i'm delighted to see Gauld and May in the squad, we'll be relying on them in a few years time , so it's good to get them some experience of the national set up. PASTA Mick
To be fair, Naismith and Fletcher are both playing at a higher level and, in my opinion, are better players than Rhodes. Martin has scored plenty this season too so I can see why he is ahead of Rhodes. May is in there so Strachan can get a closer look at him. Rhodes really needs to get a move to the EPL or another top European league.
Bzzzz
I agree with Mick, Naismith and Fletcher have more about their games than Rhodes, it's a shame for the lad as he's certainly committed but he just doesn't fit into certainly our starting formations at least, would be a good sub striker option tho...
