Argentina78 Posted July 9, 2015 Share Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) I don't think it changes much as far we as Scotland are concerned personally, but I think with other rankings moves it means from what I see put your money on us getting either France or Italy as 2nd seeds in our World Cup Qualifying group. You know the way our luck goes lol, mind you the good news is that we can't get them both as we did in Euro 2008 qualifying ? wanderer Posted July 9, 2015 Share Posted July 9, 2015 Would like to avoid the Welsh, as they have shot up the rankings for a reason, and have got a pretty impressive home record at the moment since moving to the Cardiff City stadium (not lost a home game in the best part of 2 years)...... and our record down there is rank rotten (IIRC we have only won once in Wales since the mid/late 70's). Something like that (due to playing friendlies along with Ukraine for the best part of 2 full years because they were joint-hosts of the Euros) and UEFA switched the goal posts at the last minute to allow Ukraine and Poland to each go up a pot (hence why we arranged a game with them, thinking we would both be in the same pot and could not draw each other) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
